Meet our 2-3 year old teachers

Our 2-3 year old program, is where it all starts and the magic begins. Ms. Cassie, Ms. Danielle, Miss Sophia, and Ms. Sarah are the sweetest team and love on these kiddos all day long. We have two fully qualified teachers with 16 students or less, to offer a maximum of an 8:1 student/teacher ratio. This allows for important hands on learning, dramatic play opportunities, music and movement, circle time, language development and Story Time, potty training times and any extra love or attention our students may need. We are beyond proud of our Starfish Program and all that we offer for this young age group of children.

Mrs. Cassie

We are absolutely blessed to have our wonderful Ms. Cassie teach in our Starfish Program! She has such a tender, gentle heart for our students, and especially loves to teach the 2- and 3-year-olds. We are so happy to have her in the classroom again! We are confident that your little one will adore her! She has her teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education and many years of experience. Ms. Cassie has been at SCC since 2006 when the school opened and taught in many different classrooms and has a passion for teaching twos. Ms. Cassie is a mommy of two and she enjoys dining out, shopping, watching movies, and going on adventures with her family!

Miss Sarah

We are so happy to have our wonderful Ms. Sarah join our Starfish class! Ms. Sarah brings a joyful spirit, creativity, and lots of love to our students! She enjoys watching children grow and is an excellent listener with a gentle heart. Sarah has been an early childhood teacher for many years and enjoys being a personal trainer with fitness on the side. Sarah is a mommy to two children and in her free time loves to work out in Spin class, hike, hula hoop and paint.

Mrs. Danielle

We are excited to have our wonderful Ms. Danielle return to our school! Ms. Danielle has a gift with teaching young children, as she creates a loving and nurturing classroom for her sweet students. She first began teaching at SCC in 2006 and took a short break when she welcomed her first and second child. She earned a double bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Life Education from California State University of Long Beach. She brings a passion and enthusiasm for teaching and your child will absolutely fall in love with her. Ms. Danielle is a mommy of two and enjoys family vacations and the beach .

Miss Sophia

Our wonderful Ms. Sophia taught in the Seashell class last year and is excited to teach in the Starfish class this year, as she loves this sweet age. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology and certification in Developmental Disabilities and is currently working on her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has loved getting to know all the kids and their personalities

Meet our Seashell Teacher

Mrs. Holly

We are very excited to have you join our 3 yr old Seashell Program this year! Our Wonderful Ms. Holly has an innate gift with children and a contagious sweet spirit you will fall in love with immediately. She obtained her early childhood education at Cerritos College. Ms. Holly loves teaching children about Jesus and when she is not at SCC she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends. Her calm and loving ways will make your little one feel at home and beyond comfortable leaving your precious 3 year old in her care. We are absolutely thrilled and beyond blessed this sweet lady will be teaching and caring for our Seashell children this year.
