Our Kinder Team is the most AMAZING team of Kinder teachers! These ladies bring a wealth of knowledge for this sweet Kinder year, years and years of teaching experience, and a true love for teaching children the foundations of reading, writing, math, art, personal responsibility and so much more! Our Kinder kids absolutely LOVE their teachers and coming to school each day. We are blessed to have this Kinder team at SCC ~

Ms. Sara Jones

Hi, I’m Ms. Sara and I am so excited to be the Kindergarten teacher this year. I have taught elementary school for many years all over Orange County. I have a CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and have taught in both public and private school settings over the years. My children attended SCC years ago and I also taught here many years ago. I love teaching this sweet age group the fundamentals of reading and writing, and I am so excited to be a part of this Kinder teaching team this year. I love that I get to teach with my sister Julie and niece Livi this Kinder year.

Ms. Julie

I am Ms. Julie. and I am so thrilled to be one of the Kindergarten teachers this year. I have taught elementary school and preschool for many years and am excited to be back home at SCC, where my daughter attended preschool many years ago and is now helping out in our Kinder class as an afternoon aide. Kindergarten is such a rewarding year to teach, as we see them become confident readers, artists, scientists, mathematicians, writers and sincerely good little humans. I truly believe God has called me to this field to make an impact on young lives and teach them how much they are loved by God.

Miss Livi

Ms. Livi is our Kindergarten Aide and brings all the fun, spunk and dance to our afternoon Kindergarten Day. She is a college student pursuing teaching and is the beautiful daughter of Ms. Julie. Livi is a SCC Alum and we are delighted she is part of our Kinder team this year.

Miss Kaili

Miss Kaili is our Kindergarten Aid

I am currently a student at Orange Coast College majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have always enjoyed children and have volunteered as a peer mentor in middle school and high school. I have played soccer for thirteen years; and recently I developed a soccer program for young athletes. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, trying new coffee places, camping, and snowboarding. Surf City Christian has given me such a great foundation for teaching. I am excited to be teaching children at the school where I started when I was 3 years old.
