Meet our 3-4 Year Old Teachers
This special team will soon become your child’s favorite teachers! Get ready for a wonderful year and fantastic SCC experience. We are absolutely thrilled and beyond blessed these ladies will be teaching and caring for your children this year.
These ladies are an amazing team and bring all the magic, play, STEM, art, music and learning to this 3-4 year old program. They are Rockstar teachers, and will lead your 3-4 year old's through their year of exploration, learning, pre-reading and pre-writing skills, and challenges these students each day with new science, art, math and dramatic play opportunities.
This incredible team will take their students on an adventure this year that will offer foundational learning and play opportunities while getting them emotionally, socially, academically and spiritually ready for their Pre-K experience next year.
Meet our Sea Turtle Teachers
Mrs. Tristin
Mrs. Tristin is so excited to teach your little ones this year. She grew up in Huntington Beach and graduated from Marina high school. From there she earned her Early Childhood Education degree at Orange Coast College and is currently enrolled in the bachelors’ program at the University of Cincinnati.. She was drawn to Surf City Christian because of the faith-based curriculum and their dedication to children and families. Since the first grade she has dreamed of being an educator and is so blessed to be given the opportunity to start her teaching journey here. Besides her passion for early childhood education, she loves to go to the beach, spend time with family and her husband, and go hiking. She is looking forward to a great year!
Miss Maddy
Miss Maddy is a sweet and fun-loving spirit who will bring joy and love to each student. Her sweet and gentle ways and her contagious smile make her a beloved teacher for 3-4 year olds. Ms. Maddy is finishing her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and would love to teach Kindergarten one day. Ms. Maddy loves to share her love for Jesus with her students and teach Chapel and bible stories. She loves photography and hanging out with her big family. She is a total gem of a human and we adore her at SCC!
Meet our Sea Otter Teachers
Miss Natalie
We are blessed to have Miss Natalie in our Sea Otter Program. She has lots of love for our sweet kiddos, so much creativity and a joyful spirit! She is currently studying at Cypress College and will transfer next year to work on completing her Teaching Credential. She has been teaching in our Sea Otter program all year. She has a playful and joyful spirit. She loves this age group, as she sees so much emotional and social development and loves to pour Bible words and Jesus' love into their hearts and minds. In her free time, Miss Natalie enjoys the outdoors with her dog and sister, painting and singing.
Miss Aleah
Our Wonderful Miss Aleah has an innate gift with children. She has a genuine warmth and joyful personality that is contagious. She is passionate about teaching, nurturing and challenging little learners. Miss Aleah was a Pre-K teacher this last year and is working on her degree in Child and Adolescent Development and loves building a relationship with each child and family to help foster their growth and development. We love all the joy Ms. Aleah brings to our SCC school.
Mrs. Savannah
We are happy to introduce Mrs. Savannah to our SCC family! She is kind and caring and makes our students feel loved and excited to come to school. Ms. Savannah has been teaching preschoolers for five years, having completed her education at Biola University. Ms. Savannah married her high school sweetheart and is a mommy to two boys! They are recent homeowners and love spending family time at the beach and camping. She is so excited to be at SCC and can’t wait to see how the Lord grows her this year! We know your child will love her!!
